Water Level Details
GOOD. Water slightly stained; 65 degrees; 0.24 feet below pool. Water temperatures holding in the mid 60s with no major changes in the temperature forecast. Looks like fishing into the new year will remain fair to good for all species, no big ups or downs, at least according to the weather forecast. What we are looking forward to, though is warmer than average temperatures, at least so far into this winter, could lead to earlier movement of white bass up the creeks, and earlier movement of both bass and crappie into the shallower nesting and spawning areas of the lake, particularly in the northern part if we do not get heavy rainfall. Another trout stocking in the two Tyler city parks right after New Year's, so that short, quick trips of at least some fishing will be available, even if Lake Palestine is weathered out.
