Great mixed bag catch on Palestine

James Burton, a fishing guide (www.easttexasfinestfishng.com) who regularly fishes Lake Palestine and Lake Fork among other east Texas lakes reported a great mixed bag on a trip on Lake Palestine this past week. First off, he and his customers netted 32 crappie from about 1 foot of water. Most of the fish came on minnows, but Burton managed several fish using a slab Bandit, chartreuse/white on a 1/8 oz unpainted jig head. Later he caught an 8 lb largemouth bass.
