A morning sitting area to soak up the early sun and a firepit to enjoy the evening hours. We do supply a dock slip at the marina less than 1/4 mile away for a fishing addicts. Heat and Central Air. Our kitchen is fully stocked for indoor cooking or we have a gas grill and a charcoal grill for your outdoor entertaining. Jet skiing, boating, and swimming couldn't be more perfect on the calm waters of Lake Palestine.
The lake offers over 25,000 Acres of Surface Water. Which was formed by the earth filled Blackburn Crossing Dam, Lake Palestine was impounded in 1962. The dam and lake underwent an enlargement project in 1969 that was completed in 1972, resulting in the clean and clear reservoir of today. With 135 miles of shoreline, for fun for all.
The Media Bass Individual Tournament is a local favorite and even sponsors a Little League class entry for young anglers. Jet skiing, boating, and swimming couldn't be more perfect on the calm waters of Lake Palestine.
For drier amenities, try a visit to the one of the three gorgeous local golf courses, or perhaps a quick trip to the Texas State Railroad Historical Park.
