The classic ranch home was built in 1950s -- it retains the character of an East Texas ranch home of that era. Cattle still graze the rolling hills and rest under the shade of the large oak trees.
The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Sleeping has been arranged so that 14 people fit in beds, which include 2 sleeper sofas. Bedroom accommodations include a room with a double bed, a room with 2 queen beds, and a room with two twin beds. A large living room has been set up to accommodate guests in a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa. The family room also has a sleeper sofa. There is seating for 12 with 6 at a dining table and 6 at a kitchen bar area.
Outside, there is a picnic table under the covered patio. There is a bar-b-que grill and fire pit available outdoors, as well as several portable chairs.
It is close to so many fun amenities in the area, including Lake Palestine which is about 35 miles away.
