Dallas Guide Fishing is the best fishing guide service on Lake Palestine where we target hybrid stripers, white bass and crappie. We can fish either the morning or evening, (we also offer full day trips) whatever is the most convenient for you. Let?s go catch some fish and have a great time on the water.

Lake Palestine is truly an amazing fishery (and I believe is one of the least appreciated and most under fished lakes in Texas.) It's full of fish and they are all hungry and wanting to put up a great fight. A little information about Lake Palestine. It was created in 1962 and is also a very popular lake for bass tournaments (luckily these guys don?t know how good the hybrid stripers, white bass and crappie are) Let's go catch some fish!

Lake Palestine

Fishing Report from TPWD (Nov. 13)

GOOD. Water slightly stained; 68 degrees; 1.05 feet below pool. Largemouth bass are good in shallow water near the rising water level, then moving to a medium depth in 10 feet of water once sun rises. Crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and Texas rigs are catching fish. Blue catfish are good in the 18-22 feet with minnows, and shrimp for the set lines. The night bite has been good with cut perch. Channel catfish continue to be small, but good almost everywhere on the lake. Big bream have been good in shallower areas near the boat docks, and on concrete and bridge horizontal structure with worms, and small live minnows. There is some early white bass schooling action after dawn as we come up on the full moon. White crappie remain deep, so use live scopes to find them. Once you find the crappie they are hitting minnows and jigs. Back crappie are around rocks and concrete 6-22 feet of water with jigs. You will not need a live scope to find them, just use traditional structure hunting methods and find them. Report by Jim Beggerly, Jim’s Fishing Lake Palestine.
